International Certification Levels
Pursuant to Royal Institution’s mandate to conduct training, development, assessment, evaluation, accreditation worldwide and issue appropriate certification, the following Guidelines are formulated as duly approved by the RI Board of Directors:
International Qualification Standards
International Certification Level I
- The candidate / applicant / recommendee must have attained the necessary knowledge and skills that are manual, practical and/or operational in his/her field/area of expertise;
- He/She must be a holder of NC II; or he/she must have at least three (3) years of work experience and holder of NC I or its equivalent.
International Certification Level II
- The candidate / applicant / recommendee must have attained the necessary knowledge and skills that are a balance of theoretical and/or technical and practical. His/Her work involves understanding the job process, contributing to problem solving, and making decisions to determine the process, equipment and materials to be used in his/her field/area of expertise.
- He/She must have at least five (5) years of work experience and a holder of NC III or its equivalent.
